A graduate of Law School of the University of Athens (LL.B.), the Universite Catholique de Louvain (LL.M. in Economic Law) and Solvay Business School of the Universite Libre de Bruxelles (Executive Master in Marketing & Advertising).

Ioanna’s main practice areas are Medical, Pharma and Life Sciences, Biotechnology and Bioethics, Veterinary, FDA, Cosmetics and Pesticides as well as Malpractice and Clinical Negligence and she is certified in EU Healthcare Compliance, Ethics and Regulation by Seton Hall University (Centre for Health, Pharmaceutical Law & Policy). Ioanna has attended intensive and certified by IAPP regarding the new General Data Protection Regulation EU 679/2016 (GDPR) & Privacy Program Management. During August 2018, Ioanna has completed the US Intellectual Property Law Program at Stanford University.

She has been advising & litigating for major foreign and Greek companies and organizations mainly dealing with cross-border M&As, Distribution & Agency agreements, Healthcare Compliance, EU Competition, Intellectual Property & Data Protection, Clinical Trials and Public Procurement Law. She has legally counseled on various Governance & Global Compliance Programs and has consulted international companies on complying with their legal and reporting obligations to numerous stock exchanges. Prior to becoming a Partner, Ioanna held the post of European Legal Counsel (EMEA) of Covidien Healthcare (now Medtronic) and Legal Counsel at Intrasoft International both in Benelux. She has also held similar trainee positions at both the European Commission (DG III (Industry), B2 (Standardization incl. industrial aspects of electronic trading) and the European Parliament. She is fluent in Greek, English and French.

Stephen Palmer Stephen Palmer is a Professor and Deputy Director of TEEHTA. He has worked in economic evaluation for over 15 years in areas including pharmaceuticals, cardiology, cancer, mental health, diagnostic and screening programmes and policy. He has extensive experience of health economic evaluation, regulatory and reimbursement processes.
Luca Sangiorgi He is Head of Department of Medical Genetics and Coordinator of Rare Disease Centre at Rizzoli Orthopaedic Institute, Bologna, and Contract professor of Clinical Genetics of Bologna University.
